Sanjali De Silva is a communications officer with the Union of Concerned Scientists. She works with print and broadcast media to promote local, 状态, 国家, and inter国家 energy work by UCS.
在加入UCS之前, Sanjali worked on the communications team at Precision Strategies, providing strategic consulting services to a broad range of advocacy, 企业, and political clients. Her work at Precision included managing press inquiries, training student surrogates, and coordinating day-of press logistics for the 2022 March for Our Lives rally that led to passage of the most significant federal gun safety bill in nearly three decades.
Sanjali interned at the American Civil Liberties Union in 2020 where she supported the institution’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and Black Lives Matter movement. In 2019, she worked as an intern at Planned Parenthood during a nationwide attack on reproductive rights. She also served as the editor-in-chief of the Tulane University student newspaper.
